2. POPIA Compliance Summary

We process personal information in accordance with the eight conditions of POPIA: accountability, processing limitation, purpose specification, further processing limitation, information quality, openness, security safeguards, and data subject participation.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to processing or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

3. GDPR (Where Applicable)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where the GDPR applies, we process your personal data under the GDPR. Legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

4. Cross-Border Transfers

Personal information is stored in a database hosted in Ireland (EU). It may also be processed by service providers outside South Africa, including hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase, hosted in Ireland), email delivery (Resend) and payment processors (PayFast). United States (Vercel and Resend). Such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards under POPIA section 72 or GDPR standard contractual clauses / adequacy decisions, as applicable.

5. Marketing Consent

We will only send direct marketing communications where you have given explicit consent or where another lawful basis applies. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link.

6. How to Exercise Your Rights

Email support@innovonet.co.za with your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by POPIA or GDPR. You may also contact the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.
